Why auto base running though? Leave it off and don’t run?

Why not? Its offline only. Why does it matter how I play? It's one more thing I have to worry about. Nobody was asking for this.

Legit question, not a critic. If you don’t run/steal bases, leave it off? If not, you’re at the mercy of CPU logic. BTW, Showdown is under DD, so it’s not 100% offline, it’s an online reward system that plays vs the CPU.

Not angry at you, I realize most online players use manual baserunning when playing offline.
The answer is for simple things like going first to third or tagging up I'd prefer the cpu to do it for me, it saves me having to worry about it. For things like stretching a single to a double, or attempting to score from second on a single or from first on a double I like to be able to take over.
It just seems like there is no reason to make this change, it doesnt effect anyone but the offline player. Were people asking for this? Couldn't they have just added a third completely auto option?

I just don't understand the mindset this year with some of these tweaks? It's like rubbing salt while CONTINUING to open a wound.

@Collin_SDS @Victor_SDS I am usually not a complainer at all....but this is ridiculous. Absolutely ZERO reason for this to have changed base running. With all of the other issues you are having, please stop these ridiculous tweaks and just go back to the game the way it was released..

Terrible! I've been meaning to force myself to use assist so I can get ready to start playing on-line. I guess this will be my motivation.

If you are missing part of finger and thumb on left hand and have extremely hard time baserunning using both hands, then auto baserunning makes the game a whole lot more fun...…. Return this back to the way its been for years!!!!!!

Where did my runners go? I like to use the auto settings, and then be a little more aggressive with them.
Please revert this fix. You fixed something that wasn't broken again.
