I played for like a month before I realized there was a contact swing. I thought X on PS4 was contact as □ was power. I still have never used it and only use power swing on Moments. X does the job. Unless I'm slumping, then nothing does haha.

I don't use contact very often, unless I am hitting with the pitcher or in a Showdown with a weaker hitter (low contact #'s.), only with runners on base. I have never hit a HR with a contact swing. Most of the time it's a fly ball (enough to tag), very rarely do I even get hits with a contact swing.

I started using contact swings with my pitchers in RS. Still batting like 2 for 50 with them but I'm striking out less, so there is that.

Contact was a joke early in the year. Even RoFlo referred to it in a stream that must have left the SDS people red-faced. Glad they fixed it.

I very rarely contact swing, even with low power contact hitters. That being said, I was playing an event game back in part 1 of the current event, and I was attempting to put the ball in play to drive a runner home from third. Ended up with a contact swing moonshot from Bryan Reynolds. I felt bad for a second until I remembered that my opponent chose Shippett. That's on them.
