New Glitch? Beyond Confused

So I just played a game in the event.
Trea Turner up to bat, 1-2 count 1 out. Juan Soto on 1st.
Pitcher throws a ball, almost hits Turner, his catcher drops the ball. No swing, count changes to 2-2. But then Soto starts running to second for no reason (didn’t send him at all.) I send him back to first, he beats throw and is ruled safe.
Play doesn’t end, so opponent throws to 2nd base and Soto is now called out. Turner goes to 1st base.
There was no swing at all, count changed to a ball.
Game log says “Turner (2-3-4). Soto out.”
Nothing put that ball into play. I am beyond confused. Zero percent chance I swung. Both myself and opponent didn’t seem to know why the game did that.
I don’t even know how to report that as a bug. So confused on that one lol.

Its just poor coding man, random stuff happens sometimes. Not so long ago my first baseman just froze after fielding a routine groundball, allowing the runner to beat it out and the guy on 3rd to score. Couldn't move, couldn't throw.
On another occasion a guy went aggresive and tried going to 3rd and I gunned him. But the fielder completely missed the tag, he swiped his glove over him or something. I had literally 2 or 3 whole seconds where he was waiting with the ball in the glove and the guy was called safe. Happens sometimes at the plate too, where the catcher just doesn't swipe for a tag. It's broken and won't be fixed.

Yeah, I’ve had stuff like that happen before but it was always something we’re the ball was actually in play. This one was just odd since it was never actually put into play.
Been playing for years and never saw that one lol
New year, new bugs lol.

It’s because this gam has been trash since 2018. Content saved it in 19/20, this year it’s the ability to grind offline to parallel cards that honestly has kept a lot of the players around.

I had something happen where I tried to pitch out to an opponent who had a fast runner in second with no outs in extra innings. I did the pitch out and all of a sudden his batter states walking to first (first pitch of the AB). I threw the ball to the first baseman and it registered as an out.
