Why is Griffey not running for me in RF?

Jogs over instead of getting under it on a tag up and allows a guy to easily score. Then a bases loaded blog in extras with 2 outs and I can't get him to sprint. Couple that with my first baseman catching a ball in foul at first and watching Harper tag up from first and go to second. Why is this still happening in December?

This is when it always happens. At the beginning of the year everything is snappy and quick, regarding defenders. We are praising the "better animations". Then as the season goes they get dumber, so they can look improved at the start of the next game.

InterestingI think it switches way before December. Like a gradual slider or something. Always felt that way to me.

I have a theory that when they release a new card they boost above their stats and then when it’s out a while they flip a switch.

The problem with fielding is the lack or urgency. I guess if I switch to manual fielding it resolves the issue? But manual throwing is so dumb to me as far as user input is concerned. Having a guy tag up from first on a pop up to first is comical. The glide over to the ball like it is out number three or no one is on base makes no sense. Plus the issue with urgency on run downs to go along with not being able to see the entire base path bothers me. Pitchers are insane fielders. but my top fielding Tatis card has botched multiple grounders to lose games. I just do not get it.
