DD. Rosters fail to update.

I was dumb and moved my mlb 21 from my internal hard drive to external on my Xbox. I moved it back and now I keep getting a message that says “roster updates failed. The download may have been corrupted. Please try again. I’ve reinstalled and cleared local saved game. There’s an option to clear my Xbox gamertag but I’m afraid it’ll erase all my progress. Anyone else know what to do here?
