How High Should I Keep My Stub Balance Right Now?
-
If you're sitting over a million you'll be fine for whatever drops in the future. Honestly I've been taking my time collecting all 99's this year so I don't get bored. I haven't even opened any of the packs I've gotten from TA5 yet or the 9th inning program just because I want to have something to do after I 100% all of it.

It's crazy to me how much people play this game. Collecting over 90% of the cards seems insane to me. On a game that will die as soon as the next one comes out a year later. If a pointless grind is fun to you guys, then so be it, I guess.
I enjoy playing the game but putting in actual, daily, hard work to collect as many of the cards as possible seems like a colossal waste of time to me. Again, this game ends every April....

I'm at 1.7 mil with a goal to collect all 99s (have 12 to go).
At this point in the cycle should I just try to maintain a balance of slightly over 1 mil? Just in case a new, overpowered card comes out?
Just over 0!! READY. SET. GO!!!

I really think it's a psychological thing. I truly am a completionist.

True. This is the first year I played DD. And while it's a great mode that respects the consumer, I can't see myself going through this again next year. My personality is too addictive. Next year it's back to dynasty...hope they improve it.

Hi, my name is Save and I'm a collectoholic.

I was really gonna try to collect every card this year, but I've really started to get burned out so I decided to sell everything that wasn't locked in. After buying all the cards I needed to give myself what I think is the best possible lineup, I'm sitting on about 500k.

Everyone has their goals for a game. If you’re not a collector that’s ok. But like you said a new game will be out in 5 months. So my question is why play? Your record and online accomplishments will die the moment you purchase the next show game.
I collect and play at the same time. It’s very easy to multi-task this year. So why not do both?

Hard work and video games never belong in the same sentence.

I play the actual game for the gameplay. Along the way, If I see goals that are achievable, then I'll follow a path to get that card or reward. Going through menu's for a majority of my, oh so precious play time, is not fun. But I do agree that I tend to multitask and do multiple objective at once.
Good example, I just got all the strongholds for the 9th inning umbrella conquest, but now I have no desire to finish simulating/playing the remainder of the map.. Maybe if I could keep this babe ruth card or something for next year's game...then maybe I would put more of my free time towards clicking through menus.
