I haven't played ranked on all-star since around May, but I took a break for a couple months and my rating dropped to around 500. A lot of guys that are super effective on HOF+ get shelled on all-star. I was wondering, what starters do you guys use that are effective on all-star? In my experience, it's ususally just a HR fest no matter what.

From my understanding, the pitchers that are great on HOF and L that have nasty stuff (Kluber, Felix, Arietta) aren't as effective on AS because of PCI size. In my experience, outlier is king on AS. Most players there, myself included, aren't great and have a hard time reacting to outliers. If that's not you and you can hit on HOF and L, then nothing on AS should be a problem for you...

Sorry -- to answer your question, it's outliers and changeups in the dirt.

Thaks for the response. That makes sense, I'll just stack my rotation with outlier guys

I actually like finesse guys more on AS. Go for big speed differentials and control. Outlier is very hittable on AS. But in the end, you’re going to get hit regardless.

Though players with outlier can be effective if your opponent cannot hit a fastball, I find it more fun actually pitching. My favorite pitcher to use is Kershaw. I’m not saying I won’t use a player with outlier, I just don’t rely on it.

The answer to this is the problem with this game... what are we at? 200 pitchers that throw 102 mph with no stamina lost who can go for 20 innings?
