Help With Controller Issues

I don't have an Xbox but I have a PS5. I've had 2 controllers act crazy where I couldn't control the joy stick or it lagged horribly bad. I've seen stuff online about both systems having controller issues. I contacted Sony and they replaced my controllers since I've had them less than a year. I'm guessing Microsoft will do the same if you contact them.
That's a theory I've been thinking about. This is, by definition, a launch controller. I remember that a lot of controllers had issues after launch but assumed that they were patched out with those updates.

Both of mine I got with the console had to be replaced. They made sure I did all the updates and everything and ended up having me send them in for replacement. I'm guessing Microsoft will do the same for you. I did have to send it a copy of the purchase receipt to prove how old the controllers were.

I power cycled my Xbox, which is what the Microsoft support page suggested. It seems to have worked, for now.

I’ve had issues with my PS4 Pro controller playing online but not offline. It doesn’t do anything right. I’m not sure it’s the game but the WiFi.

I sometimes have issues with my ps5 controller. Problem I’ve encountered is the controller Turing off randomly. To fix this I’ve power cycled my ps5, desynced and resynced controller, manual reset it from the tiny reset button on the controller. Nothing worked. Finally I made sure the system was fully displayed with nothing in front or on the sides. This worked. Turns out I was getting Bluetooth interference.
Not sure on the Xbox, but since doing this I’ve had zero controller issues.

Is the controller to the PS4 Pro different than the other PS4s?

I recently moved to the Xbox Series X/S
The only issue I have with my controller is pinpoint pitching.
I press the right analog stick down, and the line stops halfway or goes to the left or right. I'm sure
It's something I'm probably doing wrong. -
