If this has been addressed elsewhere… please let me know. However, has anyone else run into the issue with the new controllers making it almost impossible to pitch with pinpoint in game? Tracing is horrible and it cuts off the move down to the target circle halfway through the motion. Wondering if SDS or Microsoft have any aspirations to fix this or if one has occurred. I’ve updated the controller and still no dice. Have to use an old Xbox controller for any type of relief from the problem. Thanks in advance!

I think it's just that the Xbox controller sticks are more sensitive to movement than PlayStation controller sticks, from what I've heard. I've tried pinpoint pitching on the Xbox myself, and no matter how careful I am, I pitch horribly. Pulse is my preferred method, anyway.

You just need to break in the thumbsticks and have good grip. That's all I did, and it worked for me.

Series x controller movement isn’t smooth on moving the pci when battling either but my power a wired Xbox one controller is. backwards compatible. Lol

I've seen this issue pop up again after a firmware update two days ago. The downward motion of the pitch cuts off partway through about 50-60% of the time. You used to be able to get around it by uninstalling the firmware updates on xbox one controllers but that option was removed in the most recent update.

This is the only answer. Picked one up new from GameStop for 29.99 and it’s game changing. The Power A wired controller solves the pinpoint pitching issue and I feel it’s a lot smoother With the PCI while batting
