Third base coach

In past versions of RTTS, the runner using the analog setting could pick up the third base coach by pressing L1. In the latest version of the game that feature has disappeared. Does anyone know how to see the third base coach while running the bases?

Unfortunately, the truth is that San Diego studios seem to have intentionally(?) removed 2 features of tracking what's going on while you are running the bases: Yes, L1 (third base coach) was dropped and so was R1 (track the ball). The answer from the studio so far has been that you can either move the viewpoint around your player with the right stick or use the broadcasting view (L2), both of which are not really useful replacement. It's really strange that they did this ...
