There aren't any good ones left to choose from from previous years other than Machado, so I hope that isn't the case

If they dont give out finest for this year, just from last year they had
Soto, Freeman, Devin Williams, Cruz, Lemahieu, Santander, Stallings, Hendricks, Machado.
Then there are others that could be added from other years like JD Martinez, Josh Bell.

Some of these will probably be in the finest collection path, but there are still some decent options for throwbacks. I dont think they will do a throwback Finest pack, but saying there isnt any good cards to choose from isnt totally accurate either.

Freeman and Soto are getting finest this year in TA 5, The only difference between Hendriks finest card from last year and his all star card from this year is it says 97 instead of 99, same with Cruz. I'll give you Santander and Bell. Williams POTM card isn't all that different. Lemahieu already got that awards card even though it is worse. JD could still get one for this year potentially. I liked Stallings last year but saying he was a top tier fan favorite is debatable. My main point was that all the real fan favorite finest cards from years past have already been released in some form(Bellinger, Mookie, Lindor, Arenado, Bregman, Torres, Baez, Yelich, Suarez) or are getting a card in TA 5 (Soto, Freeman, Marte)

We can assume they are going to have tiered collection Finest rewards. They did it last year with Neshek, Severino, Marte, Arenado, and Lindor. Who else will we get for the tiered rewards then? There has to be some cards left to use as rewards.

Assuming 5 cards? JRam, Machado, Bell, Hand, Bieber Probably. I by no means think Bieber is a good card but need a starter in there somewhere. You might see some duds at the Bottom like Boyd but who knows. I'm guessing only 3 collection rewards like the 2021 AS set

Not necessarily assuming they will have 5, but you would think they would have to put someone as the main reward to get people to lock in all the Finest cards. You guessing Machado or JRam then. I'm still thinking Soto is really the only card left that could entice people into locking them all in. I think they could find a way to put Bell or someone else in as Nats Finest if they want. This is just my opinion, I'm not trying to start an argument.

Eliminating Tatis definitely changed the scope of the final reward.

I agree that Soto would entice people to do the collection, but I don't want a 2020 finest Soto card. A 2021 finest Soto would have roughly the same hitting attributes with much better fielding. If the make a finest Soto for this year the collection reward I will be more than happy, but its safer to bet on Machado as the collection reward and Soto as the Nats finest this year
