    Simple question.

Is this game fun head-to-head in Diamond Dynasty?

    Why or why not?

    To me, it's more... Stressful.

It's been the year of the pitcher without a doubt. Ryan, Feller and DeGrom throwing 102 mph in the 9th. 100mph sinkers that start a foot outside and come back to the corner.
Way more 2-1 and 1-0 scores than 5-4.
5 or 6 hits total in a game.

The competitor in me says "get better", but what is the general concensus?

Depends on how good you are as a player. meaning how well your controller skills are to time your hitting, move your PCI properly, time your pitch meter or move thumb-stick properly for Pin-Point. If yes to all the above mentioned, then yes it will be very fun playing online games in Ranked Events or Battle Royal because you will match well against the skills of other online players. What really matters now is who has a better overall team & being able to execute game play strategy & as well get some lucky breaks in your favor.

However if your controller skills are NOT good, then online play will NOT be much fun because you will clearly be out matched by most players online. If you can play well Vs. CPU on All-Star & especially Hall Of Fame Level. then you should do pretty well Online against live players.

Great points, which leads me to my next point.
I can go into practice mode and slap around almost any pitcher in the game on Legend.
I think the problem most of us mortals have is online timing vs offline timing. Good timing offline usually means late online.
Naturally it varies by game, your connection vs theirs, etc.

I beg to differ on that because I can destroy the CPU on Legend. When it comes to online, there is just something that isn't right and I get myass handed to me on a daily basis.

The pitch speeds on Allstar right now in this event all of a sudden feel like they are on HOF and the PCI is smaller for whatever reason. I went from 14-5 in the event to 19-26 the past three days. Who the hell knows. It's just not fun to play online at all.

And with what I said above, I'll still play because misery loves company.

I find playing real opponents fun, but I definitely prefer 3-inning event and BR games for a few reasons.

    1. The BR program which was added this year gives me a reason to keep coming back to that mode. In the past I would only go 12-0 once or twice a year, so it was kind of a waste of time. Now I feel like every few weeks I have something new to work towards.

    2. I like that I can put together weird lineups in events and since losses don't matter, I can just have fun without worrying about being at a disadvantage.

    3. If I get matched up with someone who is acting like a tool, I'd like beat them down and be on my way within 15 minutes as opposed to being stuck with them for 45-60. I used to play more ranked in the past, but this year I've only done about 60 games. Most of the time it feels more like a chore than anything else.

It was fun at launch imo. Hitting was way more rewarding. Now pitching is way to dominant. 2-1 or 1-0 are the norm. Thats just 💤

Let's just all agree the game is fkd and isn't going to improve. No use in complaining it about because they aren't going to do sht to improve it. Not even content creators on YT are happy and call the game boring AF!
