Extreme Moments/Conquest/Showdown

Does the community think this is something that is on the horizon or will it not be something that occurs in the game this year? Let me know what you guys think.

From what I’ve gathered a lot of people still want this. As time passes though I think people are coming to terms with the possibility this might not happen.
I’m a big fan of extreme. It gives the community a real challenge and a choice on if it’s worth the grind. These modes are primarily for the hardcore show enthusiasts.

I have basically everything complete. I'm not insanely good, cant make WS or 12-0 but definitely need something that's a challenge!

I hope they were kinda waiting to weed out the casual to launch Extreme. But that would’ve been like a month ago

Yeah, I don't know if it's going to happen or not. There's already been a lot of crying this year. The uproar over an unsellable elite card locked behind extreme, would bring that to a whole new level.

If I've been unable to complete something, I've done what any logical person would do, got better. Not sat and cried about it, gosh, this generation can be unreal!

Extreme would’ve been the perfect way to get someone like Billy Wagner this year, instead of having him be insanely overpriced for a reliever once again.

I could see possibly the two MVPs from last year with a 99 Pujols as the final item in the program.

Extreme would go against their obvious philosophy this year of making every card available to every one.
Also, I think they are aware of just how bad the gameplay is this year (even more so in moments) and don't have a desire to create a pr mess from what has otherwise been an amazing year for content.

If I can be a dissenting voice, I hope they don’t. I don’t consider myself an extreme hard-core player. But there are enough areas of the game that I can’t win now. I’d hate to see a wonderful card buried someplace where I have an absolutely no chance. But I recognize that a lot of you do want that. But that’s just my personal feeling.

It came out around this time in the game cycle last year. So not looking good. Of course this same time in the game cycle last year was late September. Because of this years coming out late. And i doubt they are gonna drop it during playoffs. So holding on to hope after playoffs they drop it.

Gameplay is great outside of H2H. Plus they could just put the extreme rewards as sellable.

I dislike moments in general so extreme is certainly not for me, but I hope they have the program for the people who do want it. If a player I really want is locked behind it (Foxx and Babe are the main ones I'd like for my old timers squad) then that's just how it goes.

It wouldn't surprise me if they leave extreme stuff out this year. They did start the game a month late, so you would think something has to get skipped to account for that.

Yes it’s for the enthusiasts and the rewards usually are worth the grind however when they do it the forums explode with all the garbage players crying foul and complaining that it’s not fair and that the rewards are unattainable and cry like entitled millennials.

I think enough people in years past skipped it that they won’t put any resources toward making it. They trended to a format that allows everyone to have a shot at every card which is favorable amongst the non elite.

I don't need Extreme now. Earlier I did, but my PCI dropping is just a joke now. I miss so many big innings because of it. It's so bad that I had to hold on for a 5-4 win on AS for Merrifield vs. KC. Thank God I can pitch, so I don't need Extreme. NHL `22 being out helps me gradually pull away from this.

I sort of hope they don’t. Finish the innings, put out the Finest, release the forever event, punt and move on to making sure MLB 22 is a successful reboot of a great franchise. I have high hopes for year 2 of the next gen.
