The game isn't rigged against you dude. Lol.

There’s weird variables/formula that goes on it seems. Just played a cpu conquest game against the Yankees on HOF and was held to 1 hit while both the cpus homers the pci wasn’t touching the ball. I had grove who has the best hr stats and the wind was blowing in.
Meanwhile I couldn’t touch the warning track with very good pci placement hitting mistake pitches against a gold pitcher. Try again exact same matchup and win 6-0. It’s just random all over whether it’s h2h or offline.

Yeah, I played in HS. I get that pulling outside pitches isn't ideal. But, since I dont see a lot of good exit velocities on that type of input, I dont think that is what everyone is complaining about. They are complaining about people pulling fastballs that are middle-in or up and in.
Mike Trout consistently pulls outside heaters for homers.

Yeah. There are some players that do. Trout does bc he is incredibly strong. Tatis does because he dives over the plate to get to them. Yordon Alvarez is also really strong and has long arms. He can pull a pitch in any location. I dont have a problem with good early swing outcomes

There is a definite rng component to the game, ie how batted balls are hit, exact pitch location, check swing %. I dont enjoy this rng component or think it is necessary, but I can overlook it. My issue it that the "randomness" is not random. Randomness is lacking predictability. When you go an entire 9 inning game getting weak exit velocities or line/flyouts on good/perfect contact, thats not random. When your opponent check swings 10 times in a game an doesnt get called for one and you get called for every one, thats not random. When you suddenly cant throw strikes, walk two batters and know (from experience) you are going to give up a 3 run shot, thats not random. There are quite a few people on these forums who also share my experience, thats not random.
Absolute[y........I am constantly getting all of it, along with my base runners running to the previous bases on a hit ball anywhere.

Somethings never change

I've played quite a bit this year and I have to say, aside from the odd obvious 'hmmm' moments, I haven't been left thinking its done overly so and ruined my experience of the game. The truth is there has to be some RNG involved otherwise every squared up ball would be a hit or a HR. Re: pitching, I haven't had the fabled 'perfect pitch went straight down the middle' complaint, My impression is that my bad pitches have been more down to bad input from me (Pure analogue). Just my thoughts.

All these games have DDA in them. Otherwise they’d only have a select few playing it.

This happens all the time: I get on base, steal once or twice and the count for the batter is 3-1. I press "Sim to next Appearance" and the count then goes to 0-2 and the batter strikes out almost every single time. How are balls taken away?! (Scripted strikeout) Also, my guy is a pitcher/left fielder. My pitching setup has 62 power and 68 contact and my left fielder setup has 120 power and 118 contact yet most of my homeruns come from my pitcher setup. I rarely even break 400ft on my 120 power setup. This game us something else man.
-
So another person on here creates a post just to say he is leaving as if anyone on this forum cares if that person is here or not!
-
You obviously care a little since you posted
-
No, my post does not correlate with whether I care or not. Trust me, I do not care if you are here or not!

These posts are from January. They’re not even talking about early 21. They’re talking about mlb the show 20. But I guess people just always need an avenue to complain

This game is 100% scripted. Playing a conquest came and have someone on first with less than 2 outs? You will 1000000% of the time hit into a double play. It doesn't matter what you do, it will happen. SDS is terrible.

I mean... I've been playing this game since the very first one...
Hell, I've been great at this game. I have to play on the most difficult of levels for this game to be a challenge. I have to have the strike zone off, and the hot and cold zones off, cursor off... So I'm very much into the challenges of this game.
So... If you say that this game isn't somehow scripted, or they do put things is this game to get you to lose... You definitely haven't played this game enough.
I got years of video from each game of these sceneries play out, and they are very obvious.
The main one I'm always concerned about is when they are ready to try to create a slump, you can get struck out even if you make a perfectly timed swing right on the heart of the bat... Because the ball goes right through the bat. Sometimes the bat would move underneath the ball, and even back in the older games, the ball would sometimes do like a Darkseid omega beam type move away from the bat, into the glove... I kid you not.
But most times, it's games when you will constantly get fly balls right to the same outfielder, good swings become early, then become choppers right to the SS...

Do you or anyone else feel like balls are clearly out of the zone and they put the ball marker back on the edge for a strike?

I’m obviously not worthy or on your level so with your theory RNG shouldn’t exist for me? Or is just for you far superior video game players?
