Why are perfect/perfect flyouts a thing?

Only talking about power hitters. For the sake of the argument, let's say anyone with 80+ power is considered a power hitter, since SDS said in the pre-release streams that a perfect/perfect flyball would be a guaranteed home run barring any insane field dimensions for hitters with 80+ power. Clearly that statement is no longer true, as I've seen even Joey Gallo fly out to the warning track on a perfect/perfect (granted, this was before patch 1.05). This makes absolutely zero sense. If a power hitter squares up a ball perfectly in real life, with a launch angle that correlates to a fly ball, that ball is leaving the yard every single time (again, barring crazy field dimensions). There is no justifiable explanation for the variation between different perfect/perfect hits. If I square it up perfectly, it should fly. I know some people will say "that's just baseball" but no, that's not baseball. Baseball is physics. I don't care where the pitch was thrown, or what type of pitch it is. If I'm a power hitter, and I hit it PERFECTLY with a good launch angle, it should be a home run.
What are your guys thoughts?

I didn't play the game at all in the last patch, but with this patch I have had about 5-6 perfect perfect flyballs go for no doubt HR's I had one hit the top of the wall with Adam Frazier (I dont have a stacked team yet), I can honestly say I am not seeing or feeling the issues people are having with this latest patch, the game feels great.

I'm not saying this is an excessive thing by any means. The large majority of my perfect/perfect flyballs are home runs, even with non-power hitters. I'm just saying when its a power hitter, it should NEVER not be a home run. I'm fine with non-power hitters not being guaranteed a home run.
I'm glad you're enjoying the game, but there are plenty of issues IMO, and this is just one of them
