There’s very few things in life that anger me....Showdown takes the cake. I’m at the point where I’ve accepted I’ll never complete it. I can beat the CPU on Legend by 10 or more runs but can’t manage 3 run in 7 outs on the 1st Inning Showdown. I love the challenge but it just seems the odds are drastically stacked against you. Three perfect/perfect were pop outs with Helton, Ozuna, and Dozier...what’s the secret to those who have done it other than working the count which I do already

I'm not a believer in working the count in showdown. See a ball in the strike zone and hit it. I just draft for the next elimination showdown. I don't remember the 1st inning showdown bc i did it so long ago, but draft hitters over pitchers. Get one silver rp and use a bronze or silver SP. Dont risk advancing bases unless you need to

If you can beat the CPU by 10 runs on legend, there’s no reason why you can’t do the 1st inning showdown.

I’ve never had a perfect/perfect with anybody be a pop out, so you’re definitely exaggerating there. If a guy has low power, it might be a warning track shot or something, but never just a pop out.

Either the pressure gets to you, or you just aren’t that great.

Thanks for the help....? I mean yea they were warning track slaps but a fly out is a fly out 🤷‍♂️
