Dynamic challenge help

I keep getting the dynamic challenge to:Execute your pitch on time to record an out. What exactly does this mean? I strike them out in three pitches as fast as possible, ive waited until the location marker fades, and ive thrown it as it fades. What is the solution.

Are you saying in order to finish a dynamic goal i gotta switch controls to a worse version?
