Catcher 89 overall CAP selection

I have the 85 CAP catcher with power hitting - I will be doing the contact with equipment 100 percent

Same here. 85 catcher w/ Pwr focus and crushing, but choosing Contact. Just need diamond eye wear, wrist bands and catcher gear.

Yeah I figured it up, the best equipment would put the CAP Balance at 112 contact and 85 power with over 110 vision. Balance would basically be upper 90’s contact with 100 power but only upper 90’s vision. It’s a hard decision for sure.

What's the difference in SPD between contact/balance... might be determining factor for me.

DEF too?

Think the contact might be better in the long run, but probably going to have to go balanced because I don’t have the stubs for all diamond equipment yet.

80 Field
84 Arm
83 ACC
78 Reac
80 BlckContact:

with the diamond shoes probably around high 40's mid 50's contact cap gonna be a bit faster than most catchers besides Realmuto

Guess it depends on if you want +10 more contact or +10 more power tbh
-
I did balanced last year and I would do the same this year if I ever get around to making one. Last year I had around 103/102 contact both sides and 96/98 power both sides with about 92 vision (not exact numbers, but around there). Defense was all 90+ and speed was 65. I definitely prefer the extra power/defense compared to the extra contact/vision, but perhaps thats just me

This is my first time doing a cap I’m about 100 innings away from the 89 diamond catcher. I bought all the equipment already.
Dumb question but I’m new to created players. Can attributes go over 99?

Even at gold, my CAP is crazy. I put about 150k worth of equipment on him though. Can’t believe I never did this in any previous games. My CAP will be the best hitter on my team.
-
I did power last year and wished I had done balanced. Did balanced this year and think it is the best choice overall
-
I did balanced last year and it worked out great. I’m still gold on my cap but I’ll probably go contact this year since you can boost everything pretty high and I seem to do better with higher vision batters
-
Take balanced. My guy is basically 100/100/90 C/P/V.
-
Mine is 100/103 contact, 101/97 power, 90 vision

Is that balanced or power?
