So, Cody actually benefited the Dodgers more than Gerrit Cole the Yankees this post season. Who would have placed that bet a few weeks ago? 🤯

Its not. Bellinger has had 2 monster seasons and 3 average to bad ones. Equals out to about an average player. Cole is overrated, that speaks for itself

Its not. Bellinger has had 2 monster seasons and 3 average to bad ones. Equals out to about an average player. Cole is overrated, that speaks for itself
I respect your opinion then. You did say Cole, who was the AL wins leader, was the “most” overrated pitcher, not just overrated though. He actually pitched better than I thought this season. These things are all opinions though.

Yeah I don't care about wins for pitchers. Julio Urias is the NL and MLB wins leader and I wouldn't even put him in my top 5 for Cy Young. Cole is still good, I'm not saying he sucks, but Yankee fans act like he is the second coming of Roger Clemens even though he gives performances like he did in the WC game fairly often. He is extremely streaky. He will go a month with only giving up 2 runs and then gets rocked for 7 in a big game.

I agree that he his no Cy Young winner, he was only an average pitcher on Pittsburgh, was clutch for Houston*, so I think he is a good pitcher maybe coming into his prime. I don’t blame him for the Yankees losing that game, they had one hitter get half their hits. The bats could have scored more than the 3 runs he let up. The bats were silent, so they don’t go to the playoffs.
