Anyone gonna talk about awards Rod Carew?
-
125 contact on both sides. And if you get him paralleled he gets Lou Brock level power. He might be nice folks don’t sleep on him.
-
He’s not bad, but he doesn’t have enough power for 1B. There’s a lot of other options I’d rather use at 2B too.
-
Too many double 100 pwr big name 1b in the game, at least 2 in the division, so most wont ever take him out of inventory.
but like a Boggs,Mattingly,Lofton, etc you wont be disappointed if you do. -
I'm with you. Basically anyone who runs out more than just one lineup can probably use him. I'd be more likely to have him as a contact bat off the bench with defensive versatility. But I liked the earlier Carew for a minute, I'm sure this one slaps too.
-
He's going to be my starter at 2nd.
... "And I've got mad hits like I was Rod Carew"
-
Carew is always extremely underrated in this game. That said I probably won't run him out there too often but he can be real good
-
Yeah his swing is incredible. Not hitting many bombs with him but it's amazing how many hits he gets.
Lots of doubles and triples.
-
“Hall of Famer Rod Carew...he converted.”

These are the types of cards people sleep on because everybody’s looking for power..
I’m actually going to start him at 1B for this next WS run with Frank Thomas off the bench for LHP
I love these high contact legends as there approach plays extremely well in the game (Carew, Lou Brock, Joe Morgan, Tony Gwynn)

yea ... I am starting Carew, Brett, Boggs and Gwynn

I love running a speed team out there. Currently have Joe Carter 30/30 as my 1B ( use guys at their primary position for this) but he could get in the mix

Insta buy for me as a Twins fan

I know it should be a 1B but was hoping his top card had 2B primary.
-
Carew has had one of the top swings in the game in years past. I've been waiting for a high 90 version to try him this year. Its crowded with so many good cards but, I assume he would definitely be a viable choice at 2b. Mad hits!

One of my favorites every year will see some time for sure
