I’ve had a couple blunders and wanted to ask:
When a runner is coming home and you have the ball as the catcher, do you guys press a certain button to tag out the runner? Or do you just leave it alone and hope he makes the tag..

I don’t touch anything. One time I had Sanchez back there and ran towards the runner and he just let him go right by and didn’t touch him like he was a dang bullfighter. OLE!

I literally quit MLB 20 after that happened to me. The coding in these games is plain terrible.

When a situation happens with the runner coming home and your catcher has the ball and is kind of just standing there or off the base path a bit, I just hold the X button for home plate. It’s been consistently working for me now to get the runner out by a tag instead of trying to have the catcher run to the base runner and then the player slides and are always safe while the catcher stands there looking dumb

CPU catchers are making DIVES just to tag my runners out, especially in Moments. I'm talking full extension, "Get down, Mr. President!" kind of dives. The kind of dives that should pull or tear a muscle. And they always get me out. I just don't get why they do it.
