Theme teams

What is the most fun theme team you have done recently.
I built an early 2000s team and man did it rake played one RS game with it was a close one but I took the L.
Theme teams is what makes this game fun as I find I play loose online as I know I'm not likely to win so no big concerns and more often than not I am more competitive then with my main squad cause I'm relaxed

I have wanted to do an all pine tar helmet team .... George Brett and Vlad Sr. are a great start ... anyone know of other players sporting the dirty helmets?

I love this post. It is hard to remember this game is supposed to be fun. I know for some people it is pure competition and that is the aspect that is fun, but for many it is just for fun. I have been playing some Extra Innings on HOF this week and it is a lot of fun using those guys who really are my favorites. I feel I do a pretty good job using them in Ranked also, but it is so much easier to go use a new 99 when playing ranked. My main "theme" team is all switch hitters. My main squad is 70% switch hitters also. I keep needing to do an all Rangers team, but I think I may go and do an all early 90's team instead.
As for the pine tar question...Rougie would fit that, but as a Rangers fan that card isn't coming near my team. LOL

Jim Thome wore it for sure when he was with the Phillies

You could even do an old timers one and a new school one as you would have enough options
