Ever wonder why some games are a homerun derby 22-17 and then the next game is 0-1. One game you are hitting perfect perfects to the wall or lined out but then the next game you are hitting very earlys not even squared up 450 feet?
Or how your opponents pitcher hits a late jammed blooper single, followed by a error because your diamond fielder got the sun in his eyes, followed by a homerun by Dee Gordon to lose the game? Scripted outcomes. -

Was the defense in a shift when this happened? I noticed against the CPU whenever I slap a ball opposite the shift the CPU goes dumb and it gets called an automatic ground rule double. There's some definite glitches in the game.

Same thing happened to me in the new Texas Rangers ballpark. I roped a liner to right field and it bounced just before the wall, the ball then warped straight through the wall (it literally dissapeared) and I was awared a 2 run homer.

As much money that is given to this Studio via stubs, via just games bought, how is it that they do not feel inclined to put out a better product? Game play wise, both '16 and '17 are far better than this game. I dont understand.

That’s happened 3 times to me and everyone gets 2 bases, the ball just goes through the backstop. Lol couldn’t make this shiit up.

This is my post on reddit. The amount of crazy things that has happened in RS this year to make me lose has been demoralizing. I’ve lost games in every way imaginable I’m 68-68 at one point 15 over .500 and steadily declined until I got here. I won WS 3 times last year and maxed out at 986. I enjoy collecting and playing with the cards but winning games you played well in was also fun too. Now it’s like idk if I’m playing roulette or baseball anymore. I just want to have fun like hers past. Not dominate a game then in the bottom of the 9th walk the bases loaded and give up a GS to lose.

9 Month crunch schedule to develop a game will do that. That has always been the issue with yearly games.

I was playing an event game yesterday, and Gallo hit one into the upper deck. Next batter comes up to the plate, and Gallo is on 2nd base

DD isnt about winning games or user skill. When will you guys realize nothing will change?
They have it tweaked the way they want it. Its aimed at casuals. Casuals spend time playing not posting on forums.
The mode is 100% RNG. It's a card simulator. It's a opening pack simulator.
This is how they want it setup going into multi platform. It wont change.
If you think things are bad now ..... wait till next year.

So they didnt have to contest with that in '16 and '17? If it's a strain then they need to increase their staff. It is not a valid excuse. Nor is lack of any communication with their customer base. I have not seen this many unhappy people, with their product, in awhile, if ever? Normally I am vehemently against this type of outrage because I find it to be sheep mentality. But, in this case.... Its justified. This game play is rough.

Been saying it for a while now, it’s how they keep players playing. Give em some cheap success, boost their confidence and they’ll stick around.
Winning/losing means absolutely nothing in this game with all the bs happening.

It gets worse every year and more obvious. For crying out loud, this year the game is literally controlling our pitches and making it easier for hitters.

I'm new to the game this year.. had a lot of trouble getting used to hitting.. put in a lot of time grinding to get better and I'm finding that the consistency of pitching and hitting is ridiculous especially when you're close to earning rewards.. pitches miss when your release points are good and pci placement and putting your pci on the ball is easy one game but seems impossible other games.. it's like you know within the first few innings whether you're going the be the one getting fluked or the one fluking.. I'd rather suck until I got better than have the game hand me wins one game and then make it impossible to touch the ball in others.. maybe they have a deal with PlayStation because I bet controller sales have spiked from people smashing them.. this game is enraging.. won't be buying the next one..
