Gurriel Jr has gotten hot at the right time. It’s a crowded outfield and I think this off season it’s time to wave goodbye to Grichuk, the guy is just too cold a majority of the season. Also, Trent Thornton needs to go the way of Tanner Roark and Tyler Chatwood.

Unless Cleveland would like to flip Jose Ramirez for Gurriel..Thornton can be shot out of a cannon

$10 million is not high in today’s standards, I’m sure some team wanting a veteran place holder with some power would take him on, if not eat 50% of his salary. Think he’s only got two years left after this. His defence isn’t bad either so he does have some value, I mean he is hitting better than Bellinger this year, but so is half the league.

Was that 44 runs in 2 days? Holy cow! Talk about a team clicking at the right time while the Yankees stumble and the Red Sox play Jekyll and Hyde. I'd love to see this Blue Jays team face the White Sox or Rays in the playoffs.
Gurriel had a great weeks worth of offense in one day.

If you're going to eat half his salary (10mill of 20 owed) you'll still get nothing back for him, so why trade him at all? He's useful as a 4th outfielder.. he just shouldn't be used against RHP or late in games (his RISP and high leverage numbers are absolutely horrendous).
Only way he goes is if the Jays take back an equally garbage contract. An overpaid reliever perhaps.

He’s got 4 grand slams this season which is insane. Two of those came in the last week. He leads the league in RBI’s for the month as well as being near the top for AVG and OPS.
I was at the first two games vs Oakland (that huge comeback the Friday night) and ever since then, the offensive has just exploded. Funny what one game can do for the whole team. They went a good two weeks before that struggling to push runs across

I think Bellinger has not been 100 percent after coming back from his injury.

Oh absolutely. I hadn’t been to a game in 20 years (Geographical reasons lol) but I sure picked a good weekend to go. Even my wife, who isn’t a big baseball fan, had a blast. It was pure craziness in there
