Joe Carter and Keith Hernandez Programs

Appears that Joe Carter and Keith Hernandez are the next player programs according to the stream yesterday. When Luis is talking around the 13 min mark, it shows both names

Two useless players that are good for collections and nothing more

Interesting as Hernandez was also a player program last year. I believe an evo.

As are the rest of basic player programs. If they pay for their rights they got to give these guys cards somewhere

How are they useless when they can be cashed in for inning program XP?
What about if they were someone's favorite player?
I play 1B and loved Keith as a Met, so there's plenty there.
I don't get you guys comments sonetimes. -

I don't get you guys comments sonetimes.I guess I meant as far as ranked seasons and online play. Keith Hernandez is always terrible in this game but if you are talkin about offline grinding or whatever I supposed there is a use for that card.

More cards mean more lineups for me to try out. I’m not a meta god squad player. I’m looking forward to the Carter card for my Jays theme team which I use when playing friends online.
Just because a card doesn’t have an outlier sinker or 120 pop vs lefties and righties doesn’t make it useless. Perfect example for me is ASG Albies, I can still hit very well with him and he’s not juiced to the nines.

Not everyone plays exclusively with Meta God Squad cards. That is 1 aspect of this game, and one that many people do not enjoy. I say it over and over, but those of us who complete every program, grind for stubs and love to collect have all the same players. In other words, your God squad isn't different than mine. But I dont use a God squad often because I like to mix it up. I like theme teams or program specific teams.
I agree, in RS, you would most likely not replace your Meta 1B whether it's Frank Thomas, Ortiz, ASG Vlad jr., HRD Alonso or whomever for Keith Hernandez. But if he was that good and you did switch him out, so would everyone else so what difference does it make?
PPs are designed for fan favorites, to have a program to grind trough, XP for inning programs and some of them have been fun to use. Not Go Squad fun, but wonderful for offline play.

I was bored of doing god squads by MLB the show 16.. which is the 2nd real DD...
It's much more fun building all-time team rosters as best you can and beating opponents that way.And Joe Carter I can definitely use!

Joe Carter = national hero.
