Banned???

I'm pretty new on here. My posts stick to baseball, I don't get heated over people's opinions and basically approve of the content and support it. Last week I was banned without explanation in what I can only assume was a mistake? Does anyone know how that works? I had one snarky post when somebody claimed I was unoriginal but I thought it rather mild and tried to make it funny. Or do the dev's really hate Albert Pujols? My last post was regarding hi sc many accomplishments.
I genuinely would like to know why I was banned so I don't do it again. I like chatting about the game and especially with tomorrow's release....I need a support group hahaha

I hope everyone that uses a cap pitcher with glitchy motions is banned…. And cap pitchers should all be banned if they throw anything under 3/4

Since you made the post, I assume you got banned from the game and not from the forum. Did you upload/download inappropriate logos or stadiums with inappropriate content or have an inappropriate team name, or were you stat boosting with a friend, or using an exploit to create a freeze off?

Sorry. I should clarify. I was not banned from the game, just the forum. My ban was lifted today. I dont know how to do exploits. My team name and jersey are basic options provided by the game. No clue what a freeze off is.
I dont really even play online. I used a few mild cuss words in a post in response to a snarky post towards me but they weren't even censored and I've seen much worse. And that is the only thing I can think of. Is that a possibility?

A few mild cuss words probably wouldn't get you banned. However, if you spammed the same post many times over or if you had a post that had personally attacked someone, that'd get you banned. You would have to look at the TOS and see what you did that was a gross violation of it.

If you find that one of your posts was deleted, that is the post you were banned for because only mods can delete posts. If none of your posts were deleted then I can't think of any other reason to be banned on the forums.
Edit: Unless you communicated with said person via PM and they reported you there.

That's a good idea. I'll check that. I have never PM'd anyone on here. I'm guessing it's the post I was referring to, I'll try to find it. Thanks everyone, I'm really just trying to avoid this from happening again.

Next time someone is snarky ignore them and then block them, or continue to be nice to them.

It's pretty much a crapshoot -- I've been banned for the tiniest infractions and I've gotten away with things that I was certain would get me banned. I think it just kinda depends on the moderators' mood at the time tbh. Welcome back to the forums.

I’ve been banned a couple times. Once I certainly deserved it and another time I said BS with that exact acronym and was banned so I’m not sure how it works. I wouldn’t really worry about it.
