They put way too many variables on pitch outcome instead of making perfect input more difficult, I don't know but it has to be a technical limitation on the pitching engine at this point.
BB/9, K/9, confidence, control and energy all have an effect on final pitch location, regardless of perfect input. That's just too many variables and results in random outcomes.
Then they add garbage ump sliders to add more randomness to ball/strike calls.

I agree, but the random outcomes are more times than not pitches right over the middle...I feel like that’s intentional at this point to help players hit. Hence why they only did a “slight” adjustment. Kinda proves right there they are unwilling to stop the meatballs being served up, it’s by design obviously regardless of user input/skill.

Played my first game since patch and gave up about 7 or 8 bloop hits. Lost my 13-0 record in rs

I agree, but the random outcomes are more times than not pitches right over the middle...I feel like that’s intentional at this point to help players hit. This may be due to the H/9 stat. They said HR/9 was removed from online play, but not H/9. So that stat could be influencing good pitches to go over the middle in order to raise the number of hits the pitcher gives up regardless of input.

Well if he checked it then it doesn’t matter wher the ball was. What’s funny is that online i find it easy to check, but in offline it’s always called a strike or it makes you do a full swing. And pitches on the black are always balls unless you’re playing showdown and A slider

I’ve played 3 players who started losing and instead of quitting or just taking the loss. They then hit my batters until they have no more pitchers or until we both get a blue screen and have to restart app
