Yeah, 40 seemed to be a little bit more of a commitment. 30 is just 1 win per day, so maybe modification efforts are to make all the modes/rewards more achievable through any given season/timeline.
I think I could certainly bounce between ranked + BR at this point, and upcoming event depending on those rewards too.
This could as be a move based on current active player base vs number of players who made WS and 40 wins last season.
They committed to making sure there wherent 1M stubs cards so this could be very data driven
I appreciate that commitment. Nothing worse than having millions of stubs and not being able to spend them until two months later when your chipper buy order goes through lol

Exactly. BR if you're a decent player and focused is easily done in a few days and has equal or better rewards than ranked seasons. Also, events are sometimes fun too. This allows folks to diversify where they spend their online time assuming they can't reach WS.
I’m definitely never going 12-0, so the reward path there has made BR my go to this year. And when event was free at the start of this season, I had knocked out most of it in a weekend.
Overall I think this is a good mod for your general player base. Maybe elite guys disagree??

That’s good. I’ve got 40 every month generally with a week to spare but I have played a lot.
I start a new job next week so I’ll struggle to make 20 a month Altho it’s nice they’ve lowered it. I simply won’t have the time as an old man with a family

Same. I banged out RS the first 3 innings and got tired of it then, tried some BR. The rewards path is fantastic and now I only play BR and some events. This might make me jump bank in to some RS now

You have to be pretty patient to win 30 9 inning games. That’s annoying after you reach the higher levels.

It’s not as bad as it sounds tbh. I wouldn’t mind guessing half of my wins are rage quits before the 4th.

I jumped into RS now that it was lowered to 30 wins. I won my first two games yesterday, 1-0 and 3-1. I still can't hit for [censored], but all 4 runs I scored last night were on solo homeruns. Nothing has changed - it's HR or bust in this game...
I can pitch well, so I have that going for me.
