Just go ahead and release the 99 Red Sox John Smoltz and the 99 Rangers Andruw Jones.

I mean at least split it up where they’re not all being used on their secondary teams in the same year

Glavine as a Met is pretty indefensible, but Maddux had a pretty stout career on the North Side.

If they make Hank a Brewer, THEN you'd have reason to gripe.

Eh, not sure I see the issue. Maybe my copy of the game is different but I'm still allowed to add Glavine to my all Braves team. I'll go out on a limb and say Maddux will be able to go on there too.

Oh, and if you are really a fan of a player it helps to spell their name correctly. It's MaddUx.

Are we sure that the Mets Glavine will be his top card? The reason I ask is because we got a milestone Lofton white sox card in the first inning. Every year, we get a ~98 Lofton card, which leads me to believe that another Lofton card is on the way and milestone cards are not always their premier card.

As for Maddox, he did have legit years with the Cubs, but he will always be remembered for allowing Gwynn to hit .415 against him…Kidding, he was obviously a stud in ATL.

Gossage has even less business with his top card as a cub.

You’re not understanding the point of the cards bro, each flashback card is based on a certain time period. When Maddux got win number 300 he was a Cub & Glavine got win #300 as a met. That’s why their milestone cards match those teams, prime cards will have the player on the team they were best with, but it’s more fun to the baseball community as a whole to recognize every team and the history behind each players legacy.

I was initially annoyed by it, but kind of got over it, we still got a great Chipper card. But this makes sense and hate it even less now. Good points.
