Reading earlier about people complaining about an 8 Total Bases Moment and wondering how bad is it?
Then I turn on the game, for the first time today, to see that today's Daily Moment is to get that with the 2HH JD Martinez.
Figure the card has enough power to justify hitting at least 2 homeruns.
Well, my first at I get 3 straight balls throw at my feet and proceed to foul off the next SEVEN pitches (with only ONE anywhere near the strike zone) only to flail on the last pitch that was at least 10 ft in the air.
Second AB I hit the seventh pitch of the AB to CF only to have a Perfect Perfect die at the warning track.
3rd AB I hit the first pitch, which was a meatball, over the CFers head for a homerun.
Fourth and last AB. Jansen pitching now. FOUR straight sliders low and away, nowhere near the strike zone to warrant a swing.
Moment over.
Exited the Moment and turned off the game. Guess I'm not getting my Hold Watch Icon as I have better stuff to do them to sit there and watch the CPU throw garbage.
Only thing, in my opinion, that keeps me playing after this inning is the release of a 99 Griffey or Aaron.

I hit 3 perfects in one series for a 2b and 2 singles. Another series I hit 2 perfects one a 2b another a out. After about ten minutes I hit back to back HRs on good timing. Gotta love moments

OP along with a number of other fourm posters have lost all credibility cause they say they are done with the game but come back 24 hours later to complain again.
Some suggested reading for these guys would be Chicken Little and The Boy who Cried Wolfe

I wonder often if alot of posters here complaining of hitting or how bad it is this year blah blah. So I wonder if any actually played the game.
Alot of variables in the game and sometimes perfect whacks die on the track. Or that perfect hit that was a laser beam to someone's glove. Frustrating as hell but normal.
I like the way it plays. Most my guys (against AI) hit a homer every 11-13/14 at bats. Normal right?
If I hit a homer every at bat or say every 3rd or 4th guy, that kinda sucks. Then why have pitchers. Go play some ball. For real -
