Time to play everyone's favorite game show: Hit or Error

Playing a Moment where I need to get 3 base hits. Down to my last AB with 2 hits already.
Ball flies off the bat and hits the pitcher in the face then bounces toward third.
I cross the base and when the game ends it says that I failed it. The CPU called that last 'hit' an error.
Ummmm?

The pitcher trying to catch a ball with his face is an error! An error in judgement and apparently in the score books as well!

yah, have that problem lots of times too. its either a error or a player choice that screws moments up for me...

I know that socks horribly. Auto correct. Happens to all of us. At least you hit the ball. It hurts worst when the pitcher hits you. I play alot of offline so in alot of counts my brain just says swing knowing I can't walk either. If I played online I would get destroyed by bad pitches.

I hate when they say get in base 2 times and they don’t count an error. Umm excuse me I’m standing in first base I did exactly what you said.

"Times on base include hits, walks and hit-by-pitches, but do not include errors, times reached on a fielder's choice or a dropped third strike." - MLB
Since MLB doesn't count it, SDS doesn't count it in the game to include the moments needing to reach base a certain number of times.

That's what I thought. I think it's just some kind of programming error. You know like how sometimes you come up to your first AB but the game states that you already had an AB and are 0-1 for the day.
