Oof, that's a tough one. My dad is an official scorer and my granddad was a long-time umpire for the IBAF, so baseball is pretty much a family thing. One moment I remember fondly is playing catch with a friend on one of the fields around Neptunus stadium (Rotterdam) during the 2007 World Port tournament. At some point a few players from team Japan turned up and played catch with us. Not just a couple of tosses; it must've been for nearly an hour. Seeing the Japanese and Taiwanese players (and the few fans that traveled with them), with all the respect and passion they have for the game, was definitely a moment to remember!

When I was about 7 or 8, my grandparents took me to see a game in Baltimore. This was ‘77 or ‘78 and they were always a good team then. I had seen games on TV (which didn’t look all that great then) but I vividly remember walking out of the concourse into the bowl of the stadium, and being shocked at how green the grass was. You really couldn’t pick that up back then. And then realizing that unlike TV, you could watch whatever you wanted... the third base coach giving signals, the fielders re-positioning themselves, Earl Weaver pacing in the dugout awaiting his next cigarette in the clubhouse tunnel... I loved it. That was when I truly fell in love with the game.

I remember one game in ‘78 when they were playing the Yankees. Reggie Jackson had played a year with the club in ‘76 and left the next year to join the rival Yankees, which upset a lot of fans. In ‘78 they came out with a candy bar called “Reggie!” with his picture on the front in a square orange package. When he came to bat, some fans threw the wrapped bars onto the field. I thought that was pretty funny.

Liked baseball a lot since T-Ball in 1988, but fell in love by 1991, when my Jays lost to the Twins in the ALCS, then Jack Morris pitched that gem to win it all for Minny..

The next year my Jays got Morris and Winfield and won it all!
And the following year we repeated capped off with Joe Carter touchin' them all!

You could not have a better childhood cheering for your favorite team and falling in love with the game...

Unless of course you're a Yankees fan in a few different eras...

In 1963 I was 8 and I watched a guy sprint to 1B after a walk. It was Pete Rose. Loved the game ever since and played 29 years until my body said quit. Now I just play the Show even in its current state to get my fix

Going to my first Braves game in the 80s and seeing dale murphy play. After that and from playing, I was hooked. Another moment was Griffey JR card mania in 89/90.

When I moved to Canada from South America at 7 years old and I was better than everyone in my school :). And a few years later seeing Roberto Alomer hit a homerun off of Dennis Eckersley in the ALCS...I was hooked 🙂

I watched baseball with my Dad on TV when i was a child. That would be in the late 50's and early 60's. I went to Fenway Park for my first live game in 1982. I was a certified umpire for amateur baseball and softball in the 80's. So I guess you could say I have had a love for the game for a long time.
