Inning rewards already have a cap of 650k in the grand scheme of things you’ll still get your reward. Is XP you’re only motivation to play this game?

It’s about when people have time to play. Many people who work for a living with families may only have time to binge one day a week and now SDS capped that at about 6 hours of play. If you have time to play 4 hours every day this isn’t a huge deal, if you play minimal during the week but a ton on a day off it’s absurdly low. A cap in the 60k range would have been far more reasonable.

Or better yet hire some competent programmers who can actually fix the exploits.

I fall into the category of someone that plays maybe 10 hours a week. I don’t come near 35k a day in gameplay xp. I’ve maxed every inning xp path so far. Usually it’s on the last week with double xp. As a slightly above average player in regards to time it’s still doable

6 hours to get in DD....I think that is more than acceptable. That is 25% of the day playing a game. If you are mad that you are getting capped at 6 hours of gameplay...

Are you one of the people that you're describing? I work and have a family. I am definitely not able to play for more than a few hours for the entire weekend. If you have 10 hours to play in a day, you can still gain XP, just do moments, or a program or something.

35K per day equals 10 Days to get inning boss. 19 days to Max inning. And that's Gameplay XP Only. No Collections, No Missions, No Ballplayer...

You're not pissed about an XP Cap. You're pissed you can't get the inning boss on Day 1 and sell it for a million stubs.

This right here is just one of the many reasons to not have a daily cap on xp

I'm for the cap. Mainly because of the parallel system. At the start of the season I was pumped for this system. I'm thinking get one if the bosses, be one of the first to get him to V, but only to find out that the bosses over time were getting to V in a few days of the inning beginning. And we all know the majority of these people arent spending stubs to get these bosses early, they're glitching the xp.

Actually, I will personally benefit from the xp cap from a stubs perspective since my play time is more consistent across days and the loss in xp I will take from capping out on weekends will be made up by playtime during the week that the exploiters and marathoners can’t get.

I still disagree with the move though and think it was a very dumb fix to a very narrow problem.

That's not the point. The point is people that can't play on a daily basis are now in a disadvantage.

Capped at 35K a day, that means if you play EVERY day, you'll get the Boss Pack in roughly 10 days. (Not including any Bonus XP for collections and Conquest/Showdown)

Not the player that can only play Saturdays and or Sundays can only accrue 70K if XP (not including the Bonus XP).

So, instead of allowing those people to grind all day, if that's what they want to do, SDS is punishing them.

    That's why people are upset.

And this XP Exploiting gas been going on since Day 1. Why wait until now to fix it?

6 hours a day is a long time. Don’t think they want you spamming rtts to get your xp. That’s actually a mode to play not farm xp. People who farm xp seem to be pretty mad.

I’d say go play madden. You can kick a fg for 60 hours straight and max their 3 month level program for bad rewards.

I've already finished the 5th inning but threw a no-hitter in RTTS yesterday and got almost 16k in XP. I know it's currently double XP but that's still 7k a RTTS game...which takes about 20 minutes so in less than 2 hours, one can theoretically be at/over the daily XP limit.

Seems like a pretty low number for folks that can only play a few days a week but are able to play a lot during those days.

I have a theory on why now. Some will call this a tin foil hat theory, but hear me out. Could this move, in conjunction with stopping exploiters, be simply a cash grab?

It's usually around this time of year that the player base dwindles, and as a result, so does the revenue stream from stub purchases. So, by limiting the xp, the casual players that don't/can't play every day, and for 4-6 hrs, will never reach the boss pack, which will make fewer boss cards available, thus inflating the price of the cards leading the casuals to purchase stubs to get the cards to help them compete, thus...revenue stream is back....again, just a theory.

Not a great theory tbh. The players that barely make it to the boss pack aren't coming close to hitting the XP cap anyway. Most if their XP comes from player programs, collections, and completing the conquest maps, which are completely unaffected by this. The only ones upset by this are the ones that feel the compulsive need to get everything after the boss pack, which was just supposed to be filler content anyway. Whats the difference of a little bit of XP a day being wasted rather than 2 weeks at the end. There isn't

Nah. Maybe they would like to get some cash but you want to see a cash grab for log on to madden. It’s night and day. In the 10 days I didn’t play this game they dropped wayyyy more content than EA had at launch. Heck probably more content than EA will have until Halloween. And the rewards haha. You can go up 36k in xp at 100 per solo and get 50 training(which is laughably nothing if you’ve never played it before and a gold card)

Let's say you play your 6 hours a day on the weekend. That still puts you at 280k xp and with just a couple collections and conquest map you have your Boss card. It really isnt affecting you that much.
