Fastballs are way too fast

I was 15-3 before patch 1.04. Now I’m 15-9. Yeah. I’ve literally lost six straight games and I don’t think that can be a coincidence. Just played a game and almost every fastball labeled me as late. But I really wasn’t late 80-90% of the time. This game needs a lot of fixing and atm it’s actually unplayable. SDS needs to fix the game. Cuz I know I’m not the only one saying all this either. The game is awful right now. Worst show game made. However. It has the potential to be better. Just fix it

No your not the only one. Me and some others have been saying for a couple days now. Please ignore the guys that just say its user input, go practice more, and other junk like that. There is an issue and we need SDS to hear.

Even McGunski just recently said that the good okay contact in the new patch is still awful and was not fixed.

Seriously though. I’d say I’m an above average player and this has been brutal. I feel bad for the average players! Had to be impossible for them haha

Did you ever think to consider that you’re playing better players? Everyone blames pitch speeds or the game for their RS record going downhill. Also, playing up until all-star difficulty in RS is veteran... so yeah there will be a difference.
Pitch speeds were not changed in the last patch, and they definitely aren’t too fast on all-star. They just adjusted the timing window which makes people feel like the pitch speed is faster. Essentially there’s just less time between what determines the different outcomes (late/good/perfect, etc)

Not too fast IMO. Fastballs aren't supposed to be easy to hit. Remember Slow Pitch Softball 18? I'd rather too fast than too slow

I swear fastball's were faster than this in '19, absolutely hated facing Nolan Ryan every other game.

I think fastball's are OP cuz outlier on certain cards.

I honestly can't make a good comparison between the two. I played mostly on HOF or above last year and I'm still struggling to get out of AS difficulty this year, so its tough to compare between the two difficulties

It's the timing window. I feel like I'm swinging good on a lot of fastballs only to find out I'm very late.

I would say anything ABOVE 97 on 2020 show was SS Nolan Ryan last year. Sorry, saw his name thrown out there and that’s what I compare it to. So not just 1-2 pitchers now, i strongly feel like anything above 97 is like that card

The pitching speed does seem a bit faster on fastballs and is a bit more challenging to hit for players, like myself.
HOWEVER, I don't mind it, and I remember reading many posts and threads from the 'Community Majority' complaining on last year's MLB19 about the All-Star level of hitting and wished for HOF at lower tier division levels, where pitch speeds were much faster, so this may be SDS's response to those complaints? I'm not sure, but I'm just sayin....

I’ve played games where the pitch speed seems totally normal and then the next game it’s off the charts. I wonder if it has anything to do with the connection you have with your opponent?
