So will The Show be using the new company for baseball cards live series?

And how will older/flashback cards going to work? Can they still use topps cards prior to 2022?

But it ends with MLBPA in 2022. So I am really confused.

As someone who could care less about collecting digital cards I would be pleased if they just scrapped the cards completely and spent all their energy making RTTS a much better experience for those who don't want to play Diamond Dynasty, which should be renamed pay to win dynasty.

If you think DD is pay to win you must not know a whole lot about it

I understand your desire to get a better version of RTTS. But DD isn’t really a pay to win. Almost everyone has the same line ups and cards and it’s really easy to obtain cards.

Regarding DD I actually don't know much about it, but it seems like a card driven program. This will benefit those who are foolish enough to spend real world money on digital cards that are only good in the game in order to win at the expense of those who would prefer to just play the game as is. If I am wrong, I don't mind admitting it.

It is a card driven program, but the good cards are given out free like candy.

    1. You are wrong.
    2. It's "could NOT care less."
    3. RTTS is a disgrace. Agree with you there.

I like both DD and RTTS. I agree with most RTTS players on the games name is attributed to this mode and it has become the [censored] child. I like the old upgrading system better than the archetype I also love DD. If you play it regularly you earn great cards and can buy others by selling duplicates and ones you don't want. No need to spend money unless you cant put the effort in to earning it. Which is why i have come to hate most online games.. Many players have complained about the fact a live roster of average can beat a 99 ovr but thats what keeps the game fun. It would be nice though if they would quit revamping the game with new stuff and just spend a couple years tweaking to perfect what they have already built.

There's this myth that in order for one game mode to improve, another needs to be sacrificed and it's really pitted people against each other from time to time on here over the years.

There's zero reason why we can't expect effort and attention be paid to RTTS, DD, and Franchise congruently.

People wanting more out of their favorite mode or having questions shouldn't offend anyone.

Someone has clearly never played diamond dynasty before. The game actually allows you to grind for cards at a reasonable rate and not depend on pack luck. They recently added a 99 overall Tim Anderson which takes like 15 minutes to get. The new 99 miggy card takes like an hour and a half to get.
