I remember the last time i played a fair bit of DD think it was 16/17 - freeze offs happened then.
Here we are 5 years later ,there still isnt a mechanism for stopping it.
As frustrating as Fifa is/was with disconnection (especially during weekend league) - both players got the loss regardless.
Not saying thats right or wrong, but at least it would stop the actual cheaters. -
It happens in every online game I've ever played. Probably not to the level reported on this forum, but then again I view this forum generally as a vocal minority. It's not something that can be fixed or it probably would be. Sorry you were a victim.

I had something similar happen where I went into the subscreen during a RS game, and when I backed out, the sunscreen remained on the right side of the screen and my opponent COULD pitch. The rest of that game went exactly how you would expect 🤬

That's ONE of the reasons I don't play BR. The stakes are high, so people cheat. It's like the standardized test mode of DD.

Idk if it’s cheating. This only happens when I win a bunch of games and then go against someone that has a decent BR rating. I think the game tries to match you locally and then when you start winning those local games aren’t there anymore.The player pool gets smaller. So you match up with some guy in South Dakota and you’re playing in Florida. That’s when I see the most lag/glitches/freezes.

I think what we have as a game now is basically what we’re going to get unless there is some major changes from this community. You can’t keep throwing money at them and buying the same copy/paste game over and over and expect them to change much.
Just like 2k and Madden. They’re all pretty much the same games from previous years. This is what happens when there isn’t any competition and people still throw hundreds-thousands of dollars into the game. They’re feeding off the addiction people have with the ultimate team concept.

I had the same exact thing happen to me today in an event game. Was so weird, and saw this post beforehand so just couldn't help but laugh and think of this. Thankfully it didn't last long, and I ended up getting a W. It was a first for me all year long.

Well it is much colder in SD than Florida.
