DNS Server

I can’t quite remember who recommended changing your DNS server on your WiFi, but I would like to thank you.
My wifi when I’m at my parents is horrendous and I get constantly disconnected. I manually input my DNS as the google server (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and my game is running much smoother and I haven’t had any disconnects since switching.
I would recommend trying this out to anybody with McDonald’s wifi like myself and see if it helps, it helped me!

I tried hard wired and my connection was actually slower according to my PS4.

Doesn't seem to work for the laggy warping online pitches. I have tried google, cloudfare and opendns.

Doesn’t matter; stability does. WiFi can peak and drop because of environmental factors, while wired will be mostly constant, and the high/lows are smaller.

I’m around 5mbps download And 3mb upload and it’s lower with hardwired. I know that doesn’t have to do with what you said but I just don’t want to put myself through that pain

Everyone swears hard wired is the way to go. Yet most hardwired guys that are top competitive players lose because of disconnects. And they play laggy games also. So that oh wifi isn’t good is bs.
