I was looking for a pinch hitter when it told me to wait for my opponent. Next thing you know I couldn't back out and I could hear strikes being called. No bueno.

I selected a reliever to warm up, hit x and the game like resumed but the overlay of the menu stayed on my screen and I couldn’t do anything
Insane how many issues this game has

Happened to me 2 days ago. I was winning by a nice margin at that. No Bueno indeed!

Ok, no offense but I've seen both of you guys state that this game is unplayable and that you're not playing anymore; but yet you guys still play.
I'm not trying to be rude or cause a conflict; but if the game is unenjoyable; why do you keep playing?
And try to give me a good reason. Not the 'this is the only baseball game around' or 'I have so much time and/or money invested in the game; I may as well play it' excuses.
Those are like saying that your head Hurst because you're slamming it against a wall; but there's nothing better to do; so I may as well keep doing it.

The things that I have pointed out that make the game unplayable are situations that OP mentioned, as well as freeze offs. I have posted little to no complaint comments or threads bashing gameplay. I’ve commented before that gameplay has slightly improved from the past years.
I still play because I love baseball and I’m good at this game. I still play because I get over the random one off scenarios like the OP stated and I get over the freeze offs
I’ve stated that I’ve been considering to stop playing or taking a break due to connection issues, not gameplay.
For the most part, I enjoy playing the game. It’s the freeze offs and uncontrollable connection issues that have caused my frustration backed posts

No worries! We have plenty of people that say they’re done playing and continue to complain with comments or threads. I get it, gets annoying.
I have my PlayStation hardwired, a great modem and internet. But for whatever reason, I’ve had more freeze offs and random, weird [censored] happening this year more than any year I’ve played since 17. Is what it is but I like to be on the forums to gain or spread knowledge, I try to keep the complaining to a minimum but we all get triggered at times lol
And although I complain about freeze offs, I still play fully aware and acknowledging that I know it could happen at any time so that’s my choice to put myself in a possibly frustrating situation...but I love baseball and DD too much to quit over just that
