Let's Solve the Showdown debate! (Poll)

Context is important here. I don't think many people "enjoy" showdowns. But I do love the fact that they make TA programs so easy and efficient to complete. So in that context, I love showdowns yes.

@ccarr77_psn said in Let's Solve the Showdown debate!: How are you supposed to get better playing a mode that doesn't reward you for good user input? I absolutely hate when I'm given a Moment on such terrible swings. Showdown is exactly the same. Where is the sense of reward? It's randomly generated. A monkey could beat Showdown A monkey could beat it but so many people struggle with it. I think that is a product of playing on the lower difficulty, the randomness. I can't wait for SD extreme to see if the randomness reduces drastically.

I do love them in that sense but I wouldn't hate them unless it was just a blank mode with zero benefit from playing them.

Haven't even looked at Showdown this year. I won't even try the extreme stuff. Also, if you play online a lot I think Showdown and grinding the CPU give you bad habits

I chose Quit Whining because I neither Hate Them or Love Them.

**1 Hour update
After 1 hour, I think the statement "Everybody hates Showdowns" is proving false but time will tell. I think that the max votes for a free poll is 100, that should give us a pretty good idea.Quit whining

I'm voting (quit whining). I don't love them, but would much rather play showdown than moments or play vs cpu. to earn points toward programs. They are more fun for me than moments and about even with conquest. I should add though that the only one I've done this year that was difficult was the 5th inning one.... the rest I did first try. I think the majority of whining comes from not being skilled enough to beat showdown and not actually a showdown itself issue... no offense to them, but it's true.
-
I do wish we could earn parallel points in SD/Moments for the players we use.
-
Showdowns got me better at this game
-
Hate. But I'll do it if necessary.
-
I think these are the final results based on it stating only 100 votes on a free pollApparently this is wrong as it is still accepting votes. Less than a 1/3 of voters hate Showdowns, in conclusion "Everybody hates Showdowns" is false.Quit whining

Theyre not terrible in my opinion. Nerve wracking though!!! I can usually get through a showdown with having to restart MAYBE once or twice? But i will say there are alot of times where the difficulty feels alot higher than VETERAN
-
I don't like any cpu grinds because they are boring to me. However, outside of exchanges, showdowns are the easiest way to complete TA's.

I can’t recall what that was…just having flashbacks to 3 + 4 HR missions with Yelich + Gehrig (believe that was moments extreme)
