First time playing RTTS and I'm loving it so far but was curious if there's any cons in being a two way player as opposed to being strictly a fielder? Like am I left out of any awards in the future? I enjoy doing both but I get bored pitching and was thinking of switching it up.

Yes you won’t qualify for the batting title and never invited to the home run derby. I choose to stay as a two way player but only start as a pitcher every couple of weeks. I won the cup young and mvp

You’re a pitcher who hits. You won’t win the batting title or be recognized for your OBP, SLG, and OPS. If you can live with that, you’re golden.

Basically, I will do three RTTS: a two-way player, a fielder, and a pitcher. It’s the only way to get yourself the records you want.

Thanks yall for explaining cause I'm in my 4th or 5th season with NY Mets as a 2 way player and I'm wondering why I'm not in homerun derby or winning awards or even qualifying for them so thank you for this

The con is "choice" SDS obviously knows more than we do about how we want to play the game.....It is ONLY about money to SDS....They have BS'd us with their "immersion" so they can try to get more money out of the RTTS group.....They will blow smoke up our butts to say they want to make it better for us, but in the end it is only about the money.

You don’t get the batting title or into the HRD, and you don’t get to pitch and hit in the same game if you’re in the American League.

It’s infuriating because Shohei is doing all these things as we speak.

These guys dropped the ball. I cannot even get the game to let me talk the manager to stop being a two way player. I got one manager meeting in my first minor league season and now am stuck with no chance to get traded or just be a position player. Terrible game, probably the last time these guys get my money.
