Don't play online but just bought JV. Have never used pin point pitching (use analog) but after 1 game I can say Justin Verlander is the best pitcher in the game so far. This guy will put the baseball anywhere you want.

I have them both. Hard to say Verlander is better than Degrom....Both are quite good, but I would go with Degrom,,,, If you are playing offline only, you can throw pretty much any diamond pitcher and be in good shape

And besides, deGrom hasn’t thrown three no-nos.

DeGrom is amazing - 100 something superfractor for me.
Verlander will be rarer that's why I'll give him the edge for now.

Picked up Verlander today for 350K and impressed. Did not like his 99 Awards card at all last year as I just had no idea where the ball would go. But between outlier and fact that can parallel even his slider to 90 control (with fastball, change and curve all about perfect) makes this card pretty excellent. Will likely be hesitant to use that cutter as even at parallel 5 it would only have 80 control and thus would be afraid to hang them.
But otherwise, can’t see that many better pitchers coming as this card already plays better than the 99 Feller from last year.

Usually focus on the BR program as soon as it’s released, but I plan on buying him before I play RS again in a week or so.
