Got Froze and still took the L

I was streaming on twitch and a little rat froze me. game disconnected and i took the L. give me the game back.

Can people intentionally freeze or disconnect a game? I don’t play online a ton but I was up 6-0 in an RS game the other night and got disconnected and took the loss. I don’t think it was on my end but can’t totally rule it out either I suppose. Kind of thing that makes me not want to play online at all. I’m not very good and it’s annoying enough dealing with the antics of toxic players. Taking losses like that just makes it worse.

There was a few glitches people were doing to cause a freeze off, not sure if they were fixed during the last update but yes people were intentiufreezinf games. In fact if you look at the top 10 online rated players, there’s 2 who had almost identical records and if you look at the stats of their games almost all were based on freeze offs.

Yea try like 8 accounts in the top 30 all win on freezeoffs its same guy muti accounts been a issue for years and yea sds does nothing about it I guess never will.

USNSEAL_1987-91 is glitching games and freeezing them to get wins. I was up 2-0 quickly in the 1st inning and glitched the game and it froze on the screen and after 10 min I rebooted my Xbox and I logged back on and I saw it gave me the loss. If you look at his game history it looks like he’s doing that a lot. Freezing and glitching games in the first inning to get wins.

Yeah that’s just one, the top 20 is littered with either the same guy on multiple accounts or multiple people all there because they freeze glitch the game and hope their opponent quits. I’m in a freeze off right now with the #3 ranked player Griffey-Jr_GOAT, going on almost 48 hours now. I refuse give him a free win.

I don't play online that much (maybe 25 ranked games and 20 or 30 event games so far) and I've literally been in just one freeze off all year, but from reading this board I get the impression that a lot of players constantly deal with them. Have I not played online enough? Do they mostly happen at higher levels? Are people exaggerating the issue? Am I just incredibly lucky? I'm genuinely curious why my experience is so different.

Chances are it’s a combination of some of your questions. You’re definitely not ranked high enough to get matched up with the bozos who are doing the freeze glitch purposely (unless they start a new account). Most of the guys you see getting called out for it are in the top 50 ranking. You can look at the top 10 and just see people’s game scores, averages etc and see who exactly is playing the game and who is just glitching. It’s not super bad considering how many players are playing online rated but the higher rated you get the more you’re likely to match up with them.
