Not sure if SDS is familiar with cards but they have a real opportunity for buying packs funner.

In real packs you have stuff like parallel’s, numbered (for example 5/50) and even autographed just to name a few of the potential pulls you can get.

Why not have these variations in packs in this game? It would be cool to pull a, for example, Ronald Acuña parallel that’s limited to 50 cards and it’s actually numbered on the card which one you pulled. Stats could stay the same but this could bring some fun to seeing lineups and the cards players have pulled.

Just a brief example of how real cards could translate into this game. There’s even hobby boxes in real life that guarantee an autograph or relic that SDS could put up as a “bundle”.

    Just an idea.

I think if it was /numbered there should be a slight boost too.

Unfortunately all the youtubers would magically end up with them in my opinion.

Would be cool if they worked something out with Topps that would send real serial numbered cards for making WS or something.

It would be cool, nothing like the excitement of pulling a numbered card.
I got a 2017 1st bowman blue Acuna out of /150 in RL and a 2018 Topps Series 2 Ohtani Rookie Independence day /76.

Bro I got a 2017 bowman chrome 1st green autograph of Acuna out of a pack. Got it graded and sold it for like $1000 before he made his debut.

First off, I love this idea so much. You think they should be sellable? Seems like it would really clutter the marketplace.

Also, that Acuna card is worth like $2000 today 😬

    That beats anything I've pulled!
It was funny, I didn't even know who Acuna was at the time. I didn't get into prospects until a bit later.
I'm really into cards, by that I mean probably have like 3,000-5,000 or so laying around in my closet. Been using this social distancing time to finally get it organized into years and sets.

I do the complete opposite of what I do in the show, I buy packs, not singles lol. Everything I have I pulled. Nothing too crazy besides what I've already mentioned, got a nice 2019 Donruss Blue Don Mattingly Auto.

Also got Willson Contreras 1st bowman chrome blue /150.
Best pull this year is a Gavin Lux rainbow foil.

I got into it heavy thanks to my dad.

Acuna was definitely the best I’ve gotten, but I do have a 2018 Bowman red autograph of Hunter Greene #/5.

From topps gallery I’ve gotten an Acuna, Ohtani, and Soto autograph.

And about 4000 other miscellaneous autos, relics, rookie and prospect cards, random cards I think are neat, and special cards from Topps’ website.

I’ve got a nice Jordan hicks auto I’d love to sell lmao.

Nice, how do you normally buy your cards? Retail or hobby? If retail, man that's some good auto luck, I probably have maybe only 10-15 autos, a good amount of relics because I like the topps holiday sets every year at walmart that guarantees one. I only just started occasionally buying hobby last year, usually stick to the main sets, Topps series 1, 2, update + Bowman.

Mainly retail with an occasionally hobby.

They’ve started selling hobby-sized Topps Gallery boxes at Walmart now, which guarantee 2 autos per box. They’re like $70 I believe. Am I going to make any kind of profit? Absolutely not lol, but I don’t care.

I highly recommend looking on eBay at Topps Archives Signature Series too. I’ve gotten about 12 of them now, and they’re pretty nice.

For me I’ve always thought they should put the actual back of the baseball card as one of the tabs when you’re viewing the cards. And I’m sure this could easily work with flashback and legend cards since they’re already using actual card art for their images why not throw the back of that card on there as well.
