User issue: PS4 no time limit on pause?

Apparently you can switch back and forth between PS4 and xbox or cloud based or even perhaps he is on the app. Unsure but I know this is completely wrong on so many levels I want to warn others of this behavior since Microsoft and Sony both are hiding behind Covid so they don't have to support anything. How can Sony allow pausing like this in the middle of a game. I would love to share some photos but i suppose that's disabled. I'll just call the guy out bc this doesn't need to happen to anyone else or Sony needs to fix so it doesn't. TTV THOMPSON has walked away from the game for almost an hour and refuses to finish the game. He's asked me to cuss at him so he can get me banned and his quote is " that would make this go faster" THIS? what is this? Doesn't want to play no more refuses to quit so I have to and lose the game. Guy can never lose if he does this every game. I would normally not call the guy out but there is no screening before starting these games to see a particular type of behavior. So here we are over an hour after he paused the game unfinished and it doesn't make him quit. He pays his money like everyone else so Im sure he will still be a user tomorrow and in the future.... Everyone wants their dollar. Im sure some part of this post will get removed anyone can look on my activity feed for their name. Sony 2k this is so wrong! I know someone will see this.....other than a gung ho moderator

Not me. I saw the size of the OP and immediately just looked down at your post. Now I am typing this and leaving with no idea what this thread is about. I only do this about a hundred times a day.

Saying that the game is somehow froze. Bit sure if it's a typical freeze off as he said his opponent paused the game and his timer won't run out.
So, I'm thinking he experienced something that I heard about a few months ago where the game is in pause nide and it shows your opponent's timer rubbing down to '0'.
But when you hit the button to fire it the game, it gives them back another 2:30.
And if you don't hit the forfeit button, it just sits on '0' until someone quits

Dude, first off 'breathe'.
Second off, paragraphs are your friend.
Third, does it show the game is paused? Like is it on one of the menu screens or is it showing the field and the players just standing there.
Fourth, in before ban. You cant post usernames in the board.

no it doesn't show pause but i couldn't do anything but quit I am breathing fine I believe people need to be held accountable . On xbox msg window it said he was ent.... thats all icould see. This is the type gamer that the community doesnt need. I have had my share of xbox communication bans but not for being a child at 3 in the morning we were in the 8th inning, he was winning! (1-0) i mean come on!

It is a standard game freeze then, nothing to see here. Wait it out or take the L. It is not necessarily your opponents fault and it very well could have been caused by something you did.

its his fault when he says he is done and isn't finishing and is going to bed and it's my problem and my responsibility to quit the game or cuss at him so "it will go a lot faster and I will get you banned" he put it...... I think he did like a mound visit and walked away

2K doesn't make this game, San Diego Studios makes this game.
As for the rest, the game froze, it happens too often, not his fault.

Lol, 2k game. Bad enough trying to read that nonsense at the top of the page but then this. Maybe it's best you don't buy it again
