I was stoked for Connor Joe but considering they made him an absolute monster for hitting his 1st career HR seems a little excessive. I’ll take it though I guess. Realism is out the door with this game anymore.

I'm glad he didn't hit 2 HR's as then I'd probably have to take Soriano out of my lineup

I said it when they announced TA would be All Stars. At this point, they may as well make a 90+ rated card for every decent player in the league. Between All Stars, Topps Now, PotM, throwbacks, remaining TA stages, Postseason, and Finest, half the league will be high diamonds.

Swanson is going to have 8 cards by the end of the year

Oh and I can’t hit with any of them

Were you around for the 9 John Smoltz's last year? This is nothing new.

Why because Max Schrek and John Hamm have better cards than Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth.

Are they too strong? Do you ever see them in ranked lineups?

Honestly no hardcore players use like any of the Topps Now players. They serve their purpose of being a good card for a theme team or for the average player or for someone that is a fan of certain player. As long as they're not all like 97+ or OP I'm fine with them.

These cards usually lack fielding, speed, and vision. For some events and for TA purpose will be good to use

do we really need 95 TN hitters? I'd rather we were getting some Golds and Silvers every week, creating a great source of options for Events.

Garbage takes in here. For the competitive tournaments with roster limits, the TN cards are absolute god sends. Juiced power and contact for guys in the 93-94 range, which is perfect for the roster composition.

Garbage response here. Just because an opinion doesn’t match yours, doesn’t make it garbage. Everyone doesn’t play in tournaments. I’d guess a very small percentage of players do.

The thread is about 93/94/95 juiced hitting stats for TN players. Everyone seems to agree they are not needed relative to their performance IRL and other star cards in the game. That is just not true, and it is painfully obvious what SDS is doing with them.

Forgive me if I offended you by saying it is a garbage take. It is an uninformed take.

They could add players who actually deserve those stats instead of inflating players who’ve had maybe 1 or 2 good games in their career. Just because people like to have cards that represent a player’s actual skill IRL, doesn’t make it uninformed. It’s just a different opinion than yours.

Why are Topps Now cards accepted and Future Stars/Prospects crapped upon?

To be fair I think the same people that don't like topps now cards also don't like future stars, they are just more vocal about future stars. 90% of us don't care
