One thing that I've always hope they would implement is an "offline" version of Ranked Seasons.

    The idea in a nutshell.....

You first of all need to "lock in" a team for that entire season, so you cannot swap out cards. Pitchers have stamina just like in ranked seasons. There is no overall cap to your team and you build it like you want with the players you want. You also cannot forfeit out of the current season or restart. Seasons last as long as the RS ones and start and end at the same time.

The tiers are the same as they currently are.......but unlike Ranked, after each season, you go back down to Spring Training and re-pick your team and commit to that season. What you face is based on your current tier and you move up tiers after a certain amount of wins.

Spring Training - Rookie game mode, all bronze CPU team + 3 random silvers - 2 wins and you move to Regular Season
Regular Season - Veteran game mode, all silver CPU team + 3 random golds - 5 wins and you move to All-Star
All-Star Season - All-Star game mode, 50% silver, 50% gold CPU team, 5 wins and you move to Pennant Race
Pennant Race - All-Star game mode, all gold CPU team + 3 random diamonds (89 max), 5 wins and you move to Wild Card Race
Wild Card Race - All-Star game mode, 50% gold CPU team, 25% diamonds (89 max) and 25% diamonds (90+), 5 wins and you move to Division Series
Division Series - All-Star game mode, all diamond CPU team, 5 wins and you move to Championship Series
Championship Series - Hall of Fame game mode, all diamond CPU team + 3 guaranteed 99 diamonds, 5 wins and you move to World Series
World Series - Legend game mode, 50% random diamond team (85 to 99), 25% diamond (90+) and 25 diamond (99), 3 wins and you get the WS reward.

So total 35 wins to get the WS level and given you need to play all 9 innings, a substantial time investment needs to be done. I figure about 35 - 45 minutes per game, so a good 24 hours of time invested.

Same rewards as in RS but you earn them after you beat that "level", so you need to win 3 in WS to get the WS. All teams you face are randomly generated each game, and it is a 50/50 chance to be home or away.

For those who prefer to play "offline" DD, this offers them something different to do than constantly playing meaningless vs. CPU games and repetitive conquest games. To prevent exploiting the system, you CANNOT get rewards from both "PvP" RS and "PvE" RS, so no double dipping.

This may not meet with unanimous community love, but I thought I'd throw this out there anyways. I personally think this would be a win/win.

I just wish they made franchise mode a more rewarding experience.

I wish in conquest, when doing the USA map, they had a cut scene of your DD team burning the opposing city to the ground after capturing their stronghold. Just like a short scene of Frank Thomas filling the Kaufmann fountains with gasoline and Rod Carew lighting a match and laughing as he walks through the still-burning ashes of what was once Kansas City. Then your MVP of the game gets to publicly behead the governor

I think that was in the game originally, but the 4 Braves fans that exist said "too soon..."

I was wanting offline seasons, as in 162 games, or the option for 81 games or half that, with a schedule vs. the rest of MLB with your DD team

This would be a great idea, especially for us off-liners that have jobs, kids, wife, life, etc.

id rather just have a free play mode where you have access to any card in DD thats available as they drop so you can have fun playing with any cards you want or have theme teams ect. but be limited to just playing friends and cpu,
would be great for offline non competive or people who love the game and legends but dont have the time to grind and play the markets to get the cards they want just to not play competitively
