Need more offline content/modes

I like the game a lot, but there needs to be more to do offline. I can only run the US conquest map so many times. There really should be offline seasons, playoffs, tournament, home run derby, etc etc. I don't even need "rewards", just another context besides conquest to work on parallels and other missions. Or even if they just stick with conquest there's really no reason why there shouldn't be at least 2 new ones a week.

No other online mode has more stuff to do singleplayer. Not even close. So start a franchise or road to the show if that isn't enough try going outside a bit while it is still summer.

There's almost nothing to do single player. There's tons of free content for sure, but what is there to do single player? There's showdown, which is awful, and conquest. And that's it. Unless you count moments, but that's not really a game mode.
It just seems like it would be really easy to have some kind of single player season, tournament, or whatever. And at the very least far more conquest maps.
And save the going outside comments, I don't need your snarky nonsense. Does that make you feel good and superior?

Even a March to October type mode using your DD team would be a nice addition. Reward xp based on difficulty level and overall rating of your team.

Worst suggestions ever.

Or simply use play v.s cpu. The stats don't count for online missions, but you can still parallel your players and gain some good XP towards the inning programs.

Why would they let you do missions or parallel in HR derby? Which has an offline mode by the way. There's also exhibition, march to october, postseason, showdown, moments, and oh yeah play vs cpu. What else you need?

It’s still really needs squad battles and an offline season but for whatever reason they just want to keep the same three content loops going for 2 years now.

Squad Battles would help immensely. It would finally give offline players a 9 inning game that has a purpose (other than "beat the Cubs on All Star or above" player programs requirements).

I'm talking about using my DD team. So scratch exhibition, march, postseason, showdown, and moments. And play vs CPU is the same as conquest except each game takes longer and you're not grinding towards the prospect packs.

It's not so bad on the outside......

One thing you could do is a franchise with legends. It isn’t your DD squad but at least you can use the all time greats.
-
I work during the week and only have time to play on the weekends, which just barely gives me enough time to keep up with the offline content that's already in the game. I'm good with it if they don't add more.
-
They have to promote online modes. Online would be great if it weren’t for the minority of people that ruin it for everyone with glitches and exploits.
I am also a mostly offline player and agree that the offline content is lacking. I was just thinking of this the other day and comparing it to Madden offline with challenges, solo battles, and missions.
Moments I guess are similar to Madden challenges, but you aren’t paralleling players and isn’t a true offline mode like the OP stated.
Example would be a Season mode where you use your team and have to play on All-Star and win your division, bonus for awards, and of course playoffs and WS. Just another game mode. The Play vs CPU mode is extremely lacking and this is where this needs to be.

Play vs. CPU would be better if you could at least toggle between live series and all-time team builds. I don't play offline a lot, but when I do it isn't really satisfying destroying a team of silvers and bronzes with a stacked squad. You can up the difficulty, but it would be nice if the teams themselves were a bit more even and it should be an easy enough fix. If the computer can autogenerate squads for you in events, it should be able to autogenerate the best possible team for a virtual opponent when you go into a Play vs. CPU game.
-
Play vs CPU is not a replacement for a more goal oriented offline DD mode. People rerun the US conquest map not because it is great fun to do so but because it has an end goal and a reward, even if you get all bronzes from the 10 pack bundle.
The Show 18 it was entirely devoted to stat grinds and the only way to grind them offline were repeated runs of the conquest map or Play vs CPU. It was the version of the game I played the least. I only put about 50 hours into the game that year before I realized that it just was not fun.
How many online players would continue to play ranked seasons if there was no end to the season and it provided no rewards for playing beyond XP.

All you have to do is go to standings, and find a ws team. You have the option to play an offline game against that team.

Extra innings games are not the same as what I recommended. Yes, it would be a stronger team to face, but it would be nice of you could just face all time builds from each team. They've done it before with moments programs. It shouldn't be that hard to do.

LOL!!
"Give a baseball game that is realistic!!!"
"I don't want to just play a 9 inning game, give us more modes to play"
Just can't win can they.

I've always liked this idea. Upping the Difficulty puts POTM Buxton in the lineup instead of Live Series...etc. Increased Difficulty off line should make the TEAM Harder, not the AI Controlling it. Didn't they kind of do this back in '18 or '19. The moments that let us use our DD squads...I remember Sig Jason Kendall was like one of the First Rewards. The teams got more and more stacked the further you went??
