Just because you don't like a mode doesn't mean it needs to be eliminated. I hated showdown at first too and then I learned to be patient and work the count and now I actually enjoy them.
Same. I wish there were more because they’re fun asf. Double plays are rampant in showdown, but all and all, it’s my favorite offline mode.

I simply stopped playing showdown. There's no need this year with how the inning program is designed and the way you can get TA points through simply playing the game. I hate SD with a passion, so I just stopped to save myself from breaking more controllers over this garbage game.

Showdown this year has been an absolute cake walk. Showdown last year for the first few months and that extremely Showdown? Torture.
The only way they could make these easier is to literally just hand you the reward in exchange for the 500 stubs.
Also, you're doing it wrong if it's taking an hour.

The last thing I want them to do is take away an offline mode. Right now I am really wishing there was something like an offline season mode for DD. Something like where you play Extra Innings games but in a season format. The inconsistency online is just making me want to play offline more and more. So...I am really looking forward to the new showdown today.

I struggle with the inning showdowns to the point where I usually don't bother to even try anymore, but the most recent TA showdown was so dumbed down that all the fun was completely sucked out of it so I really hope that's not the new standard for these going forward.

3x drag bunts attempted with the legend bunt cheese perk. All fail. Either too far, popped up in the air, or the pitcher snags it.
3x base hits immediately followed by double play [censored]. Two rockets snagged going down the first base line.
Multiple good good power swings ran down in the gap, caught at the wall, or routine fly outs.
The list goes on and on with this garbage mode. An hour to lose by one run like always.
Just eliminate this mode and the garbage sliders that come along with it.

Wasting your time with the drag bunt perk instead of just getting 3 exit velo perks like everyone else does is half the reason you lost

No, but some people seem to think if you don't absolutely despise this game(even though they continue to play it which I always thought was weird), that you are either a shill or an SDS employee.

Thats not my point. You come on here crying daily and tell us all how you're going to quit because you can't win. But yet here you are the next day telling us again how you cant win and the game is garbage. Does the game have flaws sure does....but maybe the problem isn't the game and you just suck?

If you think the showdowns thus far have been too hard, just wait for the Extreme program! I think it follows either the 5th or 6th inning inning program and you will think these other showdowns were easy.
