a lot of latency in event games?

Anyone noticing more latency issues in event games? I always felt event games ran really smooth compared to RS but I started playing some events instead of RS and [censored] it feels really choppy since I started playing yesterday.

I’m in the east coast and experience that when I play people in the midwest and west coast.
