Cespedes isn't needed to complete the ohtani collection. I would bet his card goes down in value when the others do. Unless I'm wrong you can use the 99 acuna to replace the cespedes card and still complete ohtani. Therefore people will lower there asking price when they see that the other hrd/asg cards become cheaper.

There's better and less risky plays to make a profit, but between AS Vlad and cespedes I'd go cespedes. This is assuming you'll need 75-80% of each collection. You can do the math, but it's highly unlikely that you'll need 100% AS cards, where there is far less HRD cards and they go for a lot more.

Correct. But I was just asking about whether the other guy thought it may be a good investment to buy now and sell tomorrow. (If his price may go way up tomorrow)

I would avoid hrd/asg cards. If the collection is like the Mariano collection then you won't need the ohtani voucher to complete the collection tomorrow. I don't want to tell you what to do because honestly it's all a bit of a gamble. I invested over a million stubs and just bought a bunch of duplicates of card I know will be needed. But I bought them like 10 days ago.

But I bought them like 10 days ago.
True. I don't usually get into "flipping" cards for profit. The thought of taking a gamble intrigues me though. I have about 325K stubs and honestly already have a stacked team and don't really "need" anyone. So I'm debating buying up Joc cards since he's the cheapest HRD card currently. The difference currently between the buy and sell is only about 3-4K per card. So worst case I lose out but not all or nothing.

Yes, but try to spread risk across all collections. I bought 20 of him last week at 7k, but he's a more risky investment now at 20k.
Even if Pedersen or HRD isn't needed for the collection, he's still the cheapest in the set for ohtani and also has a finite supply, so will go up. Only question is how fast.

Heck man, take a gamble and buy 2 or 3. I'm not selling any of my 20 till at least 50k. It's part of the fun!
